Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery is out of the Champions League final against Inter Milan.
Ribery will not face Inter after his appeal against a three-match ban was rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
UEFA had imposed the suspension on the Frenchman after his dismissal in the first leg of Bayern Munich's Champions League semi-final against Lyon for a stamp on Lisandro.
Europe's governing body then turned down Bayern's appeal to reduce it to a one-match ban, leading to the German club taking their case to CAS - but to no avail.
"CAS, in accordance with regular practice, was very prudent in ruling on circumstances on the field of play," said the court's secretary general, Matthieu Reeb.
