Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery has slammed the Ballon d'Or and this year's winner, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ribery claims because Real Madrid did not win any titles last season, Ronaldo did not deserve the award.
"I won everything, with the team and individually. Ronaldo won nothing," the France international said in an interview with TZ
"I feel I had earned this award. It's all politics."
Asked about next year's award, he said: "The Golden Ball doesn't interest me any more."
