Jose Antonio Reyes has held crunch talks with Atletico Madrid officials about his future at the Vicente Calderon.

Reyes is desperate to stay at Atletico and spoke with club powerbroker Miguel Angel Gil Marin about his desire not to be offloaded in the summer.

Atletico are ready to give Reyes a second chance, particularly after the improvement he's shown in training in recent weeks.
