Former Barcelona coach Carles Rexach has welcomed the appointment of new football chief Ariedo Braida.
Braida had spent over 20 years in such a role at AC Milan, before leaving last season.
Rexach said: "He is a good addition. It is not true that we cannot sign, we cannot register players.
"If there are no signings, we cannot spend a year ignoring the market. We must see who's coming, who's going, the grassroots ... We are limited to signings, like all great clubs, there are not many players in the market, but there is a possibility."
