New Barcelona transfers director Carles Rexach has slammed FIFA's transfer ban.
Barcelona can't sign any new footballers until 2016 due to the FIFA ban for failing to meet the rules on signing underage players.
"If you analyse it coldly and without going into the legal details, it's the biggest nonsense that I've seen in years. People who know La Masía know how well the kids are looked after, how much they are made to study and any father would be delighted for his son to be there.
"They've come out with this new rule and we're in a tough moment, but some things I don't understand," said Rexach.
