Wolfsburg officials are in London today for talks with Chelsea over a deal for Andre Schurrle. The London Evening Standard says Wolfsburg have already had a £23.5m offer rejected by the Blues for Schurrle, but are hoping to secure a deal this month.
Schurrle has indicated he is now willing to leave Stamford Bridge and his father Joachim has also arrived in the capital to resolve the German international's future.
The 24-year-old was expected to start his 13th game of the season against Bradford on Saturday, but significantly withdrew from the squad altogether on the morning of the match complaining of a minor back injury.
Chelsea want around £27m for Schurrle.
