West Ham United are reportedly plotting a move to secure the services of Gerard Deulofeu, according to reports from the Daily Star.

Having failed to impress at Everton during the first half of the current Premier League campaign, Deulofeu made a loan switch to Italian giants AC Milan in January and the attacker has managed to produce his best since making the transfer to the San Siro.

Deulofeu's fine performances are said to have caught the attention of his former club Barcelona but now in surprise reports from the Star, it is understood that the Hammers are looking to sign the 23-year-old attacker – with a fee of around £15.5million being quoted at the moment.
