Louis van Gaal has identified Patrick Kluivert as his No2 should he win the Manchester United job.
De Telegraaf says Van Gaal has already sealed the Old Trafford hotseat.
United have denied terms have been agreed, but the newspaper also says Kluivert - currently working under Van Gaal in the Holland national team set-up - would be installed as No 2 if Van Gaal does take over.
Van Gaal's camp have close ties with the De Telegraaf.
Goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek and physio Jos van Dijk are also named as members of Van Gaal's proposed backroom staff.
