Tottenham failed with a massive bid for Bordeaux attacker Malcom last month, it has been revealed.
Le 10 Sport says Spurs offered €50 million for the Brazilian, but Bordeaux rejected the proposal - refusing to budge from their €60m valuation.
In the end, Spurs looked elsewhere and signed PSG attacker Lucas Moura for a mooted €30m.
Meanwhile, it's suggested Bordeaux will be prepared to sell Malcom, who is also a confirmed target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, this summer for a lesser fee.
But the attacker could yet leave France this month, with an offer from China landing on Bordeaux's table this week.
