Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has revealed the motto he has driven throughout the club during his time in charge.

Speaking to Barca TV, Enrique explained during the program that he has hung up something on the walls of all the offices of his assistants and co-workers. What he has hung up is a sheet of paper with the words: “You can have results or excuses, but not both."

This 'leitmotif' which appears in all the corners of the club's training ground is written in English. Curiously, the only words written in capital letters are 'RESULTS' and 'EXCUSES', while the rest of the words are written with a felt-tip pen.

Enrique explained that “it's completely clear that in life you can't have results and excuses at the same time. One or the other. For that reason, I want everyone that is with me to have that very clear."
