Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has rejected a return to Sunderland.
The Sun says Borini has snubbed a move to Sunderland in order to force a switch to Inter Milan.
The Black Cats were willing to pay £6million, plus £2m in add-ons, to end the striker's Liverpool hell.
But the Italian, 24, has set his sights on returning home to Serie A.
Borini is confident he can complete a permanent move to Inter before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
