Arsenal stats show they're better off when Mesut Ozil is NOT on the pitch this season.

The Daily Express reports during Ozil's 486 minutes on the pitch this season, Arsenal have scored eight and conceded 10.

By contrast, the 504 minutes he has spent on the sidelines have yielded 12 goals for the Gunners, with just three going in the other end.

Even in the attacking third, the goals per game ratio of 1.5 that Arsenal have experienced with Ozil rises 40 per cent to 2.1 goals per game when he is not involved.

Ozil has been involved in all three of Arsenal's defeats this season but only three of their eight wins.
