Agents for Sarri were in London yesterday meeting with Chelsea officials for over seven hours.
Zenit St Petersburg have offered Sarri a £5.2 million-a-year (€5.9m) contract and want an answer by the weekend, but Sarri is waiting to on Chelsea to make a firm offer.
