PSG threw everything at N'Golo Kante to tempt him away from Chelsea this summer, it has been revealed.
PSG chief Antero Henrique was a regular visitor to London over the course of the transfer window as he attempted to convince Chelsea to open negotiations for the midfielder.
Henrique also worked on Kante's family and friends in Paris, who were convinced a move home was in his best interests. L'Equipe says PSG also offered Kante's agents massive commissions to get the deal done.
However, for all his efforts, Henrique couldn't convince Kante to leave Chelsea.
Also working against the Parisians was UEFA's investigation into their previous transfer spending and the threat of sanctions hanging over their head.
