Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho had a furious tear up with Phil Jones and Paul Pogba after defeat at Newcastle United, it has been revealed.
The Sun says Mourinho launched a furious attack on his two stars after last Sunday's dismal 1-0 Premier League defeat at Newcastle.
Pogba pulled out of Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup fifth-round win at Huddersfield with a mystery illness, while Jones was also missing after declaring himself unfit in the week.
Mourinho accused Pogba of being “too casual" and “too careless" after substituting him a minute after Matt Ritchie scored the Newcastle winner last week.
Defender Jones was also in the firing line and both players were said to be shocked at being singled out and the ferocity of the manager's verbal assault.
A Newcastle insider said: “Mourinho was furious — everybody could hear him shouting at Pogba and Jones.
“He obviously thinks they should do better but the pressure is getting to them."
