Some West Brom players were keen to see Tony Pulis dumped immediately after defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
Pulis was sacked as Baggies manager yesterday morning.
The Mirror says two West Brom players are said to have chanted for Pulis to be sacked after the defeat.
Pulis was fired on Monday with his side sat 17th in the Prem and just a point above the drop zone.
A pair of players were spotted by fans joining in with chants for Pulis to go from a box in the East Stand.
Chinese owner Guochuan Lai pulled the trigger after 2,700 visiting Chelsea fans sang: "Tony Pulis, your football is s***" from the away end.
Worse still was when the Baggies fans, who had not already walked out, joined in.
