Crystal Palace skipper Mile Jedinak has shrugged off the amazing stats he's racking up this season.
Outside analysis rates him as the best player in the Premier League and the fifth best in Europe.
"Someone back home mentioned it to me but it is not something I have taken too much notice of," he said.
"It is nice to hear these things but people will compile different stats and take what they want from it.
"Obviously it is very flattering and you take it on board but it is the people here who matter. People who know me, they know how grounded I am and that I do not like to get too carried away with things like that.
"It is about getting on with your job. [Stats] are becoming more prominent and rightly so in some ways but the way I have been brought up it is about doing your utmost in different situations on the field. I try to lead by example. What that means is getting about physically and helping to organise your team-mates when they might need you. You do not get respect from people easily, you need to earn that respect. You have to prove yourself every day, so it is not about resting on those stats."
