Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has almost concluded a complete clearout of Ramon Calderon's players.
Only Marcelo survives from the previous Calderon regime with Perez now overseeing Pepe's departure.
El Mundo Deportivo says as many as 20 players signed by Calderon have since been offloaded during Perez's time in charge.
Five of those players are Argentines: Ezequiel Garay, Gabriel Heinze, Javier Saviola, Gonzalo Higuain and Fernando Gago. Six, Dutch: Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Rafael Van der Vaart, Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, Royston Drenthe and Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Three, Spanish: Dani Parejo, Javi García and Miguel Torres.
Jerzy Dudek, Fabio Cannavaro, Mahamadou Diarra, Lass Diarra, Christoph Metzelder and finally Pepe, complete the list.
