Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is targeting three senior signings this summer.

The Mirror says Mourinho wants a new centre-back, a left-back and a holding midfielder.

Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld and Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos are Mourinho's top defensive targets this summer.

However, United know Spurs will not let Alderweireld leave without a fight, meaning the Red Devils could turn their attention to the £20m-rated Papastathopoulos instead.

Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is Mourinho's No.1 midfield target this summer.

As for United's left-back problem, Mourinho sees Tottenham star Danny Rose as an ideal replacement for Luke Shaw.

Rose would love to head to Old Trafford this summer to work with the Special One.
