Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to land a massive name this summer - and is focusing on Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Manchester Evening News says Mourinho expects United to clinch a deal that 'will make everyone sit up straight' as he assembles a potential title-winning squad.
Mourinho has prioritised signing Juventus midfielder Pogba to the extent he vetoed a move for Miralem Pjanic, who joined Juve from Roma, although it is understood the Portuguese is pessimistic about United's chances amid intense competition for the France international and his world-record asking price.
Mourinho is intent on clinching at least four signings in his first summer transfer window as United manager. Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly became the Portuguese's first arrival and Mourinho has also targeted a right midfielder, as well as a striker and a central midfielder.
