Manchester United continue to be linked with top talent scout Luis Campos.

Campos, available after leaving AS Monaco last summer, held extensive talks with Olympique Marseille this week.

However, the Portuguese rejected the proposal, with an OM source saying: "In this environment, when a record is made 99%, the 1% is the most complicated. OM is not a single club, and Luis is also very demanding, as you have seen in Monaco."

L'Equipe says Campos is a wanted man with Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan also keen.

Indeed, rival interest is being blamed for the OM deal falling through.
