Manchester United have launched a world record €190 MILLION offer for Barcelona superstar Neymar.

Brazilian daily Globoesporte says United tabled a whopping €190 million offer, meeting the buyout clause on Neymar's contract, last week.

The offer was made directly to the Barça boardroom without contacting the player's representatives.

United's proposal is almost double what Real Madrid paid Tottenham for Bale in 2013.

It's suggested the deal would be difficult because of FIFA sanctions, but it may become possible in the near future. Barca would not be able to find a replacement for Neymar until January due to a transfer ban.
