REVEALED: Man Utd lodge new bids for Serie A pair Skriniar, Romagnoli

Manchester United have launched bids for two Serie A defenders this week.

Corriere dello Sport says United have tabled an improved offer for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, while they're also in contact with AC Milan for Alessio Romagnoli.

United have offered Inter €65m for Skriniar and Milan €50m for Romagnoli. The Milan defender is regarded as a fall-back option.

United had a €57m bid for Skriniar turned down a fortnight ago.

The Premier League giants' pursuit of the Serie A pair is being driven by new scout Javier Ribalta, who has joined United this past year from Juventus.
