Manchester United and Real Madrid could've snapped up Gabriel Jesus for chump change last year, it has been revealed.
Manchester City ace Gabriel is now regarded among the world's most exciting young players, having signed in the summer of 2016 before moving from Palmeiras to England this January.
City paid €32m for the Brazil international, however it's been revealed several European giants, including United, could've snapped him up for less.
Kicker reports in Gabriel's Palmeiras contract was a clause giving priority to United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. If any of the quartet offered €25m, then Palmeiras were obligated to accept the bids.
However, none of the four came forward, so allowing City to step in and sign the attacking sensation.
