Liverpool have launched a stunning bid for Benfica whiz Joao Felix.
Correio da Manha says the Reds had an audacious £61m bid for attacking midfielder Felix turned down by Benfica.
The move would have made Felix Liverpool's third most-expensive signing ever, after Virgil Van Dijk and Alisson.
However the Merseyside club were some way off of Benfica's valuation of Felix, who has a £105m buyout clause with the club.
Felix only signed a new deal with the Primeira Liga side recently, after being rewarded for his excellent form.
