The Daily Mail says Mignolet is facing a fight to save his Liverpool career following the club's decision to target a new goalkeeper.

The club's transfer committee have started the process of identifying potential replacements for the former Sunderland man.

Mignolet, of course, has time to turn things around with the transfer window not open until January.

But there is now a widely held view at Anfield that the goalkeeping position needs strengthening.
