Watford goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis received an apology from Mohamed Salah after defeat at Liverpool.
Salah sought out Karnezis at full-time and apologised to the Watford keeper after smashing four past him in Liverpool 's thumping 5-0 win on Saturday evening.
The 25-year-old produced yet another devastating display which left pundits, former Reds players and Jurgen Klopp all gushing.
The Mirror reports following the final whistle, Salah approached Karnezis and could be seen saying the words "I'm sorry" to the Greek goalkeeper.
And when asked about his goal, Salah stayed humble and told BT Sport: "I have to thank every one of my teammates, without them I couldn't have reached these numbers.
"Each game we try to get the three points, that's the most important thing, but every game I want to score, I want to help the team."
