AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar was ready to move to Real Madrid this summer, it has been revealed.

L'Equipe says Lemar had held talks with Zinedine Zidane and agreed to join him in Madrid for next season.

However, Zidane's resignation has changed everything and the winger's future is again in limbo.

The deal between Real and Monaco had been settled at around €60m and Lemar had given his approval after speaking with Zidane.

But now the France international is again weighing up his options with the Real move off after Zidane's dramatic decision.
