Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson admits Jamie Vardy could've been a Hull City player.

The 28-year-old this week completed an incredible three year journey from non-league football to the England squad.

Pearson admits that he originally tried to sign Vardy for former club Hull.

He said: "My assistant Steve Walsh has been watching him for a long time, we were interested when we were at Hull - I'm glad we didn't sign him."
