N'Golo Kante has revealed that he turned down the advances of Paris Saint Germain before deciding to join Chelsea.
The France international moved to Stamford Bridge after famously leading Leicester to an improbable Premier League title win in 2015/16.
Remarkably, Kante repeated his title success with the Blues last season, whilst also earning the PFA and WFA Player of the Year awards as well as the Premier League Player of the Year award.
But all of this may never have eventuated had Kante decided to join his hometown club.
"It is true that the PSG were there like the other clubs after my beautiful season in Leicester," Kante told Le Parisien.
"But I chose Chelsea after talking with the coach and the sporting director. And I do not regret it. In addition, I like the league and the style of play in England."
