Manchester United signing Andy Kellett thought he was returning to Plymouth Argyle yesterday.
The Bolton Wanderers defender has joined United on-loan to the end of the season.
"Sit down Andy," The Bolton News reported Wanderers first team coach Garry Parker as saying.
"We've got some good news and some bad news."
The full-back preferred to hear the bad news first.
"You're not going back to Plymouth," was the reply.
Braced for the worst, he waited for the good news.
"You're going to Manchester United," Parker said.
