Juventus failed to clinch a deal for Hajduk Split prospect Andrija Balic on Monday, it has been revealed.
Sportitalia says Balic and his father were in Turin on deadline day to sign with Juve.
Personal terms were struck, but a fee between the clubs could not be settled.
Hajduk Split were willing to sell for €4 million, while Juve were insisting on an initial loan with the option to sign him permanently for €3 million.
Juve, however, won't give up and will aim to sign Basic in January.
