Bayern Munich have swooped for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal on the request of Pep Guardiola.
The Chile international could complete his move to Bayern today.
El Mundo Deportivo says Guardiola personally requested Vidal's signing from his board after the departure of Bastian Schweinsteiger to Manchester United.
Heavily influencing the deal is Bayern chief Michael Reske, who knew Vidal when he was working at Bayer Leverkusen and is close to the Chilean.
It's suggested Vidal will earn a cool 30 per cent pay-hike at Bayern from his current Juve wages.
