Atletico Madrid's players are convinced Antoine Griezmann is staying.

The France attacker is expected to move to Barcelona this summer in a €100m deal.

However, Marca says Griezmann has told Atletico teammates he intends to stay with them next season. The striker made the assurances before their clash with Eibar.

It was during the final game of the season that Griezmann was reduced to tears as he was whistled by home fans. It took the intervention of Diego Godin and Gabi in demanding the jeers stop for the crowd to begin supporting the Frenchman again.

Despite the incident, Atletico players are convinced Griezmann will keep his word and stay with them next season.
