Everton boss Ronald Koeman is convinced he can land Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

The pair worked together at Southampton, where the France midfielder played the best football of his career under the Dutchman.

De Telegraaf says new United boss Jose Mourinho is happy for Schneiderlin to move on and intermediaries have been informed of his availability.

Koeman would love to be reunited with his former Saints ace and talks have already been held with the player's agents.

The ball is now in Schneiderlin's court over whether he accepts a move to Goodison Park.
