Danny Rose has turned down an enormous offer from Chinese club Shanghai SIPG.
The Sun reports that the Tottenham Hotspur defender has rejected a £14.5million-a-year proposal from the Chinese Super League outfit, who are coached by ex-Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas.
It is understood that Rose, 26, stood to earn around £285,000 per week in the Far East but has opted to stay in North London and fight for trophies with Spurs.
England full-back Rose revealed that he is only planning on remaining at White Hart Lane and developing his game under Mauricio Pochettino.
“I can go to speak to him about a lot of things," said Rose.
“I am not playing football just for the fun of it. I want to win things.
“When I am 34 or 35, I want to look back and see I have won something.
“That is the next step for this team and to do it we have to keep everyone for as long as possible. I am not going to be distracted by anything else."
