Manchester United signing Marco Rojo has a court case hanging over him.
The People says Rojo is sweating on a court appearance in Argentina - for an alleged bottle attack on a neighbour.
The incident took place in November 2010 but prosecutors apparently still want him to stand trial.
Rojo, who signed for United last week in a £16million switch from Sporting Lisbon, could face anything from a year in jail to probation if he is found guilty.
The flashpoint came in La Plata, Buenos Aires when the defender was celebrating a move to Spartak Moscow from Estudiantes in November 2010.
Rojo had an argument with neighbour Juan Pablo Gomez, who was struck with a bottle which broke.
A medical examination stated that injuries had been caused to the victim's "face, body and forearm".
