REVEALED: Conte ‘cracking the whip’ at Chelsea

Antonio Conte has reportedly turned Chelsea's training ground into a boot camp as he attempts to refocus his players.

The Sun is reporting that Cobham is in lockdown as the Italian strives to 'crack the whip' in the wake of Sunday's loss to Manchester United.

That result saw Chelsea's lead at the top of the Premier League table cut to four points and Conte is eager to up the ante ahead of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final with second-placed Tottenham Hotspur with his side chasing a domestic double.

It is understood that Conte has forced his players to train harder and longer and has minimised the amount of visitors so his playing group is not distracted.

A source from the West London club told The Sun: “Antonio realised some things needed to be changed to refocus the whole group on what is at stake.

“It's only for the run up to the Spurs match. After that it's back to normal.

"But basically, you can say the players are getting a kick up the backside."
