Chelsea and Stoke City are working together on a deal for Boca Juniors striker Jonathan Calleri.
Boca president Daniel Angelici has confirmed they plan to sell Calleri in January.
TMW says Chelsea have discussed a deal with Stoke, which would see the Argentine spend six months on-loan at the Brit from January.
Stoke enjoy a good relationship with Chelsea and have taken Victor Moses and Marco van Ginkel on-loan in consecutive seasons.
Chelsea are now favourites to land Calleri, though any deal will be subject to a UK work permit hearing.
