Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has made contact with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
Dropped for Chelsea's victory over West Ham last night, Cesc is being linked with a move away this month.
Sport says the midfielder, who had two spells with Barcelona, has called Florentino directly about the prospect of moving to Real.
The president offered Cesc encouragement, but warned he'd have to find buyers for several fringe players before making a firm proposal to Chelsea.
Juventus are also interested in the Spaniard, though do not see him as a priority at this stage.
