Chelsea offered Cesc Fabregas to Inter Milan last week, it has been revealed.

While Cesc was linked with a late transfer window move to AC Milan, Gazzetta dello Sport says the midfielder was also in contact with Inter.

It's claimed Chelsea included Cesc in their bid for Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

However, Inter chiefs rejected the proposal, insisting Brozovic was a required player.

Cesc appears set for a limited role this season under manager Antonio Conte at Chelsea.
