Chelsea boast first refusal on Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake, it has been revealed.

The Telegraph says Chelsea have all the power in the transfer battle surrounding Ake.

They say the Blues have a buy-back option after the 23-year-old left Stamford Bridge last summer.

Chelsea and Bournemouth have a gentleman's agreement that will let the Blues re-sign Ake for around £40m if they wish to do so.

Reports this week claims both United and Tottenham are chasing the Dutch defender.
