Newcastle United assistant boss John Carver clashed with fans on Saturday.
The Telegraph says Geordie Carver was involved in an angry confrontation with fans before the Southampton game when he saw them hold a "Sack Pardew" banner.
Newcastle went on to be humiliated 4-0 at St Mary's on the day.
