Fabio Cannavaro is edging closer to be named Leeds United manager.

The Mail on Sunday says Cannavaro was in Leeds on Saturday

He is believed to be close to agreeing a deal to replace Steve Evans in the Elland Road hot-seat.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus defender has little managerial experience, having only coached Al-Ahli Club of Dubai, Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande and Al-Nassr – who he left in February.
