REVEALED: BVB ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan moving up Juventus shopping list

Juventus have asked Borussia Dortmund about a loan deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Juve GM Beppe Marotta sees the Armenia international as an alternative to Galatasaray playmaker Wesley Sneijder. But BVB's €15 million asking price is too rich for Juve at this stage of the season.

Instead, Marotta has proposed a loan deal with the option to sign the midfielder permanently in June. Juve would pay around €2 million for the six-month deal.

For their part, with BVB battling against relegation, they're weighing up whether to part with Mkhitaryan, though his reluctance to open new contract talks does have the board prepared to cash in - for the right price.

Mkhitaryan is now inside the final 18 months of his current deal.
