Stoke City are moving for Barcelona midfielder Ibrahim Afellay.
The Daily Star says Afellay is closing in on a shock move to Stoke City after undergoing a medical.
The recently released Barcelona star, a former target for Arsenal and Tottenham, spent last season on loan at Olympiakos but has now left the European champions permanently.
A former PSV Eindhoven star, Afellay struggled to live up to his billing since moving to Barcelona in 2011.
