Barcelona management are frustrated and feel let down by Samuel Umtiti over his injury problems this season.

The World Cup winner has managed just eight appearances this season, having penned a new contract last year.

Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda revealed on El Chiringuito that Barca are angry Umtiti has refused to undergo knee surgery - as recommended by club medical chiefs.

He said, "They raised his salary and he has played eight games. The club told him to have surgery, he has preferred conservative treatment and is in Qatar recovering.

"Barcelona doctors told him to have an operation and do not understand why he is delaying everything."

Last year, Umtiti raised his salary from €3m to €8m.
