REVEALED: Aussie group enters investment talks with Reggina

Reggina president Lillo Foti has revealed he's in talks with an Australian consortium.

Foti has just returned from a trip Down Under where he met with a group of Australian business people with Calabrian roots.

He confirmed the Aussie group are eager to take a stake in the club and help with the building of a new stadium.

"The reason that led me to do this trip was the intention to meet with a group of entrepreneurs from Calabria, operating with great success in Australia, to make an investment that involves Reggina Calcio - strengthening the corporate structure - and the city in a redevelopment project.

"It was exceptional to meet these people of great human value, who have not lost the sense of identity of Calabria and attach great significance to words such as Respect, Humility and Pride."

Foti added: "This is a new project that starts with the desire to internationalize Reggina Calcio."
