Borussia Dortmund are threatening Arsenal's plans for Manchester City midfielder Jadon Sancho.

Arsenal are regarded as favourites to sign Sancho, who is now off contract and baulking at agreeing a new deal with City.

Kicker says Sancho and his agents were in Dortmund at the end of June to meet with BVB officials and tour the club's facilities.

It's suggested City boss Pep Guardiola had a first team path mapped out for the youngster this season, but Sancho is now close to moving elsewhere.

While Arsenal and BVB are in contact, in Germany it is Tottenham which are regarded as favourites for his signing.
