REVEALED: Arsenal eyeing RB Leipzig boss Hasenhuttl

RB Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has emerged on the radar of Arsenal.

The Sun is reporting that the Austrian is being considered as a possible replacement for the Frenchman.

Little-known Hasenhuttl has attracted the attention of Arsenal after guiding Leipzig from the second division to top spot in the German Bundesliga.

Long-time Gunners boss Wenger is out of contract in the summer as speculation regarding his future in North London continues a and it is understood that chief executive Ivan Gazidis has begun the process of finding a successor.

The report indicates that Arsenal have been monitoring 49-year-old Hasenhuttl for two years and have been impressed with the work he has done with Leipzig, and with unfashionable FC Ingolstadt before that.

It is believed that Hasenhuttl, who started his coaching career in the Bayern Munich academy 14 years ago, has been sounded out about the Gunners job and has confirmed his interest.
